Common calls include Level 2 EV chargers on 48A dedicated circuits, whole-home standby generators (18–26kW natural gas), outdoor kitchen and pool wiring, landscape lighting on astronomic timers, and chandelier / two-story foyer fixture installs off our lift. Panels are typically 200A or 400A meter-main combos.
Swan Lake and Tiberon are lakefront and pond-front subdivisions with waterfront exposure. Wet-rated dock and boathouse lighting on GFCI-protected circuits, pier post lights, and standby generators are the most common calls. Grounding and bonding matter especially here — anything less than proper equipotential bonding on a waterfront circuit is a shock hazard.
Legacy is a large Bossier planned community with mostly 2000s–2010s construction. Panels are already 200A and generally in decent shape, so most calls are EV chargers, standby generators, ceiling fans on vaulted ceilings, and pool/hot-tub circuits. Whole-home surge protection is often missing (older than NEC 230.67 mandate) and worth adding on any service work.
Plantation Trace is another established Bossier subdivision with mid-1990s through 2000s homes. Common work includes ceiling-fan installs on high ceilings, recessed LED retrofits, outdoor patio and landscape lighting, and the occasional panel upgrade for homes adding an EV or a hot tub.
Carriage Oaks has a mix of 1990s–2000s homes with attached garages and standard suburban layouts. EV charger installs, standby generators, and ceiling-fan upgrades dominate. Attached garages make Level 2 EV runs short and clean — most Carriage Oaks installs are single-day jobs.
Cane's Landing is a newer Bossier subdivision. Panels are already 200A, but many were built just before the 2020 NEC 230.67 whole-home surge cycle and lack surge protection. Most calls today are EV chargers, generators, outdoor lighting, and smart-home / low-voltage rough-in for automation.
Greenacres Place is a large 1960s–1980s Bossier community with a mix of ranches, split-levels, and later infill. Panel upgrades from 100A/150A to 200A, AFCI/GFCI adds, aluminum branch wiring pigtails on the 1965–1975 homes, and generator installs are the dominant calls here.
Cattail Pointe is a newer waterfront-adjacent Bossier development. Wet-rated dock and pier lighting, standby generators, EV chargers, and outdoor landscape lighting are the most common calls. Waterfront exposure means proper GFCI protection and equipotential bonding on any outdoor circuit.
Cove at Villagio is a newer master-planned community in Bossier. Most calls are Level 2 EV chargers, standby generators, ceiling fans and lighting retrofits, and smart-home / networked panel additions. Panels are typically 200A modern gear.
Central Park is an established Bossier neighborhood with mid-1990s to early-2000s homes. Ceiling-fan installs on vaulted ceilings, panel upgrades, generator installs, and outdoor lighting are the most common calls. Some original recessed can lights are past their service life and are prime candidates for LED wafer retrofits.
Pecan Grove and Pecan Park are older Bossier neighborhoods with 1970s–1980s ranches. Panel upgrades from 100A/150A to 200A, aluminum branch wiring pigtails, meter-base replacements, and generator installs dominate. Attic access is generally good, making service upgrades one-day jobs.
Southgate is a well-established South Bossier neighborhood with 1970s–1990s housing stock. Common calls include Federal Pacific and Zinsco panel replacements (both are insurance-flagged), aluminum branch wiring pigtails, GFCI adds in older kitchens and baths, and ceiling-fan installs on old-work fan-rated brace boxes.
Gardens of Southgate is a smaller pocket within the broader Southgate area with a mix of established homes. Work here mirrors Southgate proper — panel upgrades, aluminum branch pigtails, ceiling-fan installs, and generator hookups. Free written estimates on every project.
